Hardware Design Part Selection - The application requirement is analyzed and the most appropriate device chosen for the task, ensuring the best price/performance trade-off. A circuit design is developed around the selected part, and a prototype test board made for firmware development purposes.
Firmware Development Firmware for the PIC is developed in Assembly Language for the most efficient program memory usage and speed. NEW! We are now able to provide field firmware upgrade capability through the use of a boot-loader (in PIC families which support software writing to flash program memory) either by RS-232 or USB connection to a PC.
